Upon opening in late 2023 at the new Durango Casino & Resort in southwest Las Vegas, the restaurant will offer lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch services with both indoor and outdoor dining options. The California-inspired menu features simple ingredients sourced from local grower partnerships and sustainable products, including Cali-style tacos, fresh salads and vegetable plates, housemade pasta and pizzas crafted with California-milled flour, entrees from the live-fire wood grill, and more. Rosé is poured all day off the signature Rosé Cart, featuring the signature Summer House Rosé, with an extensive wine and handcrafted cocktail list.
Dishwashers are responsible for washing and sanitizing all food service utensils and miscellaneous items such as plates, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, etc. They are also responsible for assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the back of house area and may have additional cleaning duties specific to the restaurant.
Essential Functions Operate and utilize the dish machine and cleaning suppliesWash, sanitize and dry all kitchen utensils, equipment and other items placed in the dish area or as requested by Management and StaffAvailable to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekendsSafely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipmentAbility to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken directionMultitask calmly and effectively under pressureWork in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levelsAble to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces Key Responsibilities and Duties Maintain a pace sufficient to prevent back up of dirty dishes, glasses, etc.Return and restock all items to appropriate area after washing and sanitizing procedures are completedAbility to read a thermometerMaintain dishwashing machinery and communicate any potential issues to ManagementIdentify cleaning supplies and notify Management when running lowAssist with general cleanliness of the back of house and restroomsEmpty garbage (checking for restaurant supplies) and keep garbage areas clean and coveredComply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and proceduresFollow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee HandbookGet along well with others and be a team playerOther duties will be assigned as needed
