At Clip, this candidate will be a key member of the Payments and Fraud & Risk Management teams with responsibility to deploy risk management strategies and capabilities to ensure delivery on disputes management, chargebacks collection and fraud loss target while managing customer experience. S/He will participate in the design and validation of platform and tools and their implementation. This person should thrive in a culture of decision based on analytics and Data Science, be able to step-back and communicate both the strategy and immediate implications on priorities. This candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills in both English and Spanish and be willing to continue learning and loving Analytics, risk management, and fraud prevention.What will I be doing?Processing and disputing credit card chargebacks and inquiries to recover funds - including investigations of chargebacks and communications with external partners.Analyzing information, thinking through difficult problems, and making critical decisions based on limited information.Tracking and providing statistics on chargebacks for the Finance Management Team.Tracking and maintaining fraud incident reports and other related analyses.Making certain that all chargeback activities are handled in accordance with regulatory requirements.Reporting on Fraudulent vs Service related chargebacks, actions taken, and results obtained.Communicating with our Payment Processors on our external partner's queries.Compiling the figures from various databases to build the team's monthly chargeback report.Validating chargeback reports by utilizing internal and external software systems.Identifying risk factors and trends of potentially fraudulent activity utilizing technical data analysis and statistical interpretation.Extracting and analyzing data, investigating data integrity, generating metrics, and performing data and portfolio analysis.Partnering with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Business teams to conceive, design, and monitor Disputes & Chargebacks strategies to mitigate fraud losses in the most precise manner possible; recommending which product features to build and why.Ideal CandidateAt least 5 years of fraud prevention and risk management experience with traditional and non-traditional payments companies
