Job Description:This position is responsible for the Supervision of finished goods processing, including loading and unloading of equipment, receiving and inspecting equipment, and reconfiguration of equipment as required. This is a key Supervisory position that will coordinate closely with many other teams, including production, supply chain, and carriers. The position is responsible for driving a safe work culture that is focused on quality and productivity.Responsabilities:- Ensures that Terex health and safety policies and procedures are implemented and followed, as well as compliance to all local regulations.- Directly Supervises team leads and direct tm's on the shop floor- Maintains standard work and procedures for DC operations.- Manages KPI's for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale.- Manages the day-to-day operations of shipping, receiving, reconfiguration, FG Inventory and inspection of equipment.- Ensures performance to plan through KPI management, communication, and leader standard work discipline.- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.- Ensures a high level of quality, through audits, VOC, and inspection of both processes and equipment.- Develops plans and actions for continuous improvement.- Utilizes problem solving tools and methods to resolve performance issues.- Embrace and promote the Terex way values: Integrity, Respect, Improvement, Servant Leadership, Courage, and Citizenship.- In charge of ensuring the well-being of team members, their safety and their work tools.- Plan the activities of the Distribution Center Team members and ensure the coverage of the Workload with all available resources based on the cycle time calculation.- Manages the floor operations of the DC in relation to all units received physically and systematically at the DC.- Coordinate the inventory of empty trailers available for the day's shipments.- Coordinates the training matrix and manages the required courses of the Team Members- Request immediate technical support in the event of equipment and tool failures or any other resource that hinders the progress of distribution center operations.- Creation of purchase orders for tools and accessories required for Reconfiguration and Shipping Operations.- Manage the hours worked and overtime required for the operations of the Distribution Center.**Requirements**:- Strong technical skills and experience with heavy equipment- Flexible with strong teamwork orientation.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Experience with manufacturing processes.- Experience on Organize and Optimize Resources.- Excellent problem-solving skills.- Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.- Ability to work well under pressure.- Commitment and excellent understanding of lean principles.- Demonstrated ability to effectively implement change.- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), pivot tables, and TMS (Oracle MRP)- Skills- Operate in a fast paced, continuous improvement environment.- Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience coaching and training others.- Assess and improve material and information flow.- Develop and document standard work.- Capable of Supervising multiple people- Must be able to delegate activities and supervise team members.- Respect and good treatment of people and revue their performance.- Physical AbilitiesIt requires sufficient visual acuity to recognize letters, numbers, and perform material inspections, hand-arm-eye coordination to use a computer keyboard, and sufficient speech and hearing ability to effectively conduct in-person and telephone conversations.
