**Distribution Specialist - Logistics Warehouse & Distribution**

Join us as a Distribution Specialist, where you'll be responsible for coordinating and performing the planning activities associated with transportation, warehousing, inventory levels, materials handling, order administration and communication networks associated with AstraZeneca's transfers of pharmaceutical product from manufacturing sources to our network of distribution centers. **Accountabilities**
In this role, you will lead deviations/CAPAs, temperature excursions, change controls, internal and external distribution complaints for assigned 3PL partners via AstraZeneca Quality Systems. You will also be responsible for the coordination and execution of stock replenishment activities and management of inventory levels. Other duties include reconciliation of warehouse inventory balances to SAP, maintaining and developing process area SOPs, Client Work Instructions (CWIs) and Business Rules related to distribution of trade, samples, and free goods. You will also support SOX compliance initiatives (weekly, monthly quarterly) as the need arises and complete required AstraZeneca and FDA related reporting to support lot distribution data and quality review reporting.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Management Science, or a minimum 2-5 years' experience in logistics
- Experience in leading customer relationships within a distribution environment for a business to business and direct to patient supply model
- Proficiency in computer skills: MS Word, Excel, SAP including SAP APO
**Desirable**
- Experience in various aspects of pharmaceutical operations, supply and manufacturing, customer products distribution.
- Knowledge of analytical databased or BI systems
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Distribution Practice systems.
