RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver and supervise the transportation of goods and supplies following established procedures to ensure on-time delivery of goods and supplies. Deliver and supervise the delivery of routine warehouse and store tasks to ensure all goods and supplies are stored and recorded following established procedures. Complete routine packaging tasks and assist others by following established procedures. Collect and collate information on the key cost drivers, market dynamics and issues, areas of innovation, and alternative suppliers for more senior colleagues to provide solid market information for decision making. Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring complex issues to others. Prepare routine letters, memoranda, reports and similar documents following detailed instruction. This is likely to involve using the full range of functions within standard office software. REQUIREMENTS High School / FE College (2 A Levels) Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems Works under guidance (but not constant supervision) to analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making. Supports business processes without supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing technical guidance as needed. Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans or policies. Uses an understanding of numerical concepts to perform mathematical operations such as report analysis with guidance (but not constant supervision). Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives. Works under guidance (but not constant supervision) to perform costing, budgeting and finance tasks. Needs guidance (but not supervision) to communicate with other people by speaking in a clear, concise and compelling manner. Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to review and create relevant, lucid and effective reports.
