15,000 trained professionals250+ locations worldwideGlobally unified systemsJob DescriptionScope of Position The Branch Trainer works directly with the Training and Personnel Development Manager in leading and managing comprehensive organizational employee training and development initiatives and projects to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of the Corridor's personnel. Supports local training needs, analysis, delivery, implementation, evaluation and follow-up. Champions and fosters a continuous learning environment for employees and is an integral part of working with employees on their training and development goals.
Key Responsibilities: Proactively monitor the following key metrics to achieve the expected results:Monitors completion of Employee reviews, 1:1s and required trainings.Job Descriptions: 100% updated for Supervisors, Leads and Agent level positions.Delivers minimum 2 ILT (Instructor Led Training) per quarter for the Corridor.Exemplify and Teach Our Culture, Mission and Goals.Follow the 10 Critical Success Factor and the 'What's expected of a Supervisor' guidelines.Complete required trainings and 52 per year (4.33 per month) hours timely.Own your self-development. Prepare, follow-up and execute on your personal development goals.Build healthy cross-functional relationships and work environment, promote team spirit and cohesiveness in the department and branch/corridor staff.Ensure understanding and compliance of company controls, policies, processes and procedures.Ensure strong knowledge and proper use of all Expeditor systems and tools, especially PDC, Smart Recruiter and Employee Development tools.Participate and contribute to the development of the strategic plan for Employee Training and development to create career paths for employees at all levels.Execute department TBP priorities and project goals.Manage the Training & Personnel Development assigned priorities and projects to increase employee development and satisfaction.Conduct Employee Performance Evaluations.Manage the Smart Recruiter process.Facilitate proactive and efficient communication flow with department Managers and corridor staff.Participate in weekly department meetings and provide project updates.Evaluate training needs of the branch/corridor, develop and implement training programs.Manage Training & Development Programs for Agents, Leads and/or Supervisors as per annual plan.Conduct effective check-in meetings to ensure participant engagement in training programs.Plan and conduct new hire orientation sessions to ensure 100% completion.Deliver Instructor-led training courses for all employees at the Branch/Corridor.Support departments in planning training to meet requirements in compliance with Operational Process Standards and company policy.Assist management in determining and following-up on employees' personal development plans.Provide skills gap analysis and develop individual training plans.Lead, coordinate and implement global, regional and external trainings.Work with product managers to deliver various training formats.Deliver training sessions for new Managers and Supervisors on resources and tools.Maintain updated training program information in SharePoint.Publish the training schedule for the branch/corridor in the PDC.Advise employees on available training programs.Support Level 1 trainer certification for supervisors and managers.Ensure testing and evaluation for training provided by corridor personnel are conducted.Assist in developing job descriptions for consistency across the Corridor.Manage employee recognition programs.Coordinate monthly Branch Meetings.Post job openings in Smart Recruiters and follow up for consistency.Assist in prescreening candidates for organizational fit.Manage the pipeline of candidates for current and future employment.Conduct employee surveys as needed.Attend monthly Branch Trainer conference calls.Participate in MRM and Branch meetings for training updates.Assist the Employee Satisfaction Committee as needed.Participate in optimizing tools and improving service quality.Escalate necessary issues to the Training and Personnel Development Manager.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent education and experience.2-3 years of experience in Training and Development Programs, preferred.Knowledge of company training and development systems and tools.Ability to conduct instructor-led trainings at supervisor and manager level.Exhibit a leadership style that empowers and fosters a cohesive team environment.Customer Satisfaction oriented.Ability to relate and influence employees at all levels.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Strong project management skills.Ability to complete work within standard procedures and guidelines.Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.Fluency in English and Spanish.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
