.Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Division CI Leader.What you'll do: Job summaryDrive the OPEX strategic vision and roadmaps for all Plants in RWD: Haina, Las Piedras, Cuautitlan, Lincoln, DWDE, Juarez, Charlotte and MonterreyProvide expertise for Eaton Business System Tools and training including EBS Pull, OpA, EBS-A, and other toolsDrive Cost-Out Accountability for the Division including monthly Cost-out Calls and follow-upsProvide support for Functional Groups at the Division Level for Kaizens, problem solving, and to ensure EBS adherence.Liason with ES-A and corporate CI to ensure alignment and monthly/quarterly/annual requests Job responsibilitiesMentor RWD Sites on EBS and OpA roadmaps for achieving World Class and Plant model StatusLead OpA internal assessments identifying gaps and actions required to achieve PerformingSupport the plants performing their Strategy planning and identifying the key leading indicators which move the needleLead the Division CI council supporting the development of each champion on the ECIS tools and OpA CategoriesConduct deck building events at sites to identify cost out projects to maintain a healthy pipeline of projects to meet cost out targetsLead and facilitate structured Problem Solving events including Kaizens and RIE's Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institutionLean Practitioner CertificationBlack Belt certificateYears and area of experience required7+ years of Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement experienceHands on approach to implementation (e.G. Kaizen Events)Demonstrated experience using problem solving & Six Sigma statistical tools (including A3, 8D, Problem Definition, Data Collection, Brainstorming, 5 Whys, Fishbone, Cause & Effect, Error Proofing, Variation Analysis, SPC, MSA, and DOE) to solve problemsCost Out Projects: Lead or coordinate site initiatives translated to productivity savings Technical knowledgeValue Stream Mapping (VSM), Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Pull System, Standardized Work, 5S, TPM, Setup Reduction and Error Proofing. Problem solving tools & methods, including statistics and process variation reduction tools. Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) / Continuous Improvement Framework.
