Job SummaryAMETEK, Inc. is seeking a seasoned operations leader to spearhead the manufacturing operation, quality assurance/quality control, facilities, and EHS teams. This is a highly visible and key leadership role in the business unit, requiring a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and a strong ability to drive results.Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic operational initiatives to drive monthly sales, profit, and working capital targets.
- Implement the manufacturing strategy and readiness to support business objectives, with a focus on efficiency, effectiveness, and communication.
- Build and lead a highly motivated and world-class team, with a focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship, inventory and material management, labor/overhead planning, forecasting, budgeting, engineering, capital planning, and plant-level production planning and control.
- Continuously evaluate and improve plant reliability and productivity, identifying innovative, effective, and economical production methods, systems, and processes.
- Analyze costs to maximize opportunities to contain costs and increase quality, efficiency, and profit margins, recommending and managing capital improvements to capitalize on business opportunities.RequirementsA bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline is required, with an MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred. Proven record of success as a 'hands-on' operations management leader with at least 10 years' experience in a similar role, with a history of progressively responsible career progression, demonstrated knowledge of and familiarity with Standard Work, Daily Management, 5S/Visual Management, TPM, Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma.#J-18808-Ljbffr
