Division Vice President Of Operations

Job Summary
AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a seasoned operations leader to spearhead the manufacturing operation, quality assurance/quality control, facilities, and EHS teams. This is a highly visible and key leadership role in the business unit, requiring a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and a strong ability to drive results.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop strategic operational initiatives to drive monthly sales, profit, and working capital targets.
• Implement the manufacturing strategy and readiness to support business objectives, with a focus on efficiency, effectiveness, and communication.
• Build and lead a highly motivated and world-class team, with a focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship, inventory and material management, labor/overhead planning, forecasting, budgeting, engineering, capital planning, and plant-level production planning and control.
• Continuously evaluate and improve plant reliability and productivity, identifying innovative, effective, and economical production methods, systems, and processes.
• Analyze costs to maximize opportunities to contain costs and increase quality, efficiency, and profit margins, recommending and managing capital improvements to capitalize on business opportunities.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline is required, with an MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred. Proven record of success as a 'hands-on' operations management leader with at least 10 years' experience in a similar role, with a history of progressively responsible career progression, demonstrated knowledge of and familiarity with Standard Work, Daily Management, 5S/Visual Management, TPM, Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma.
