Divisional Controls Engineer

Key Objectives:To ensure that the engineering activities meet the Company's objectives, projects are achieved on time and within budget where relevant. Responsible for control system design, specification, programming, simulation, and testing and start-up assistance. Expected to implement code changes under change control, and successfully improve cycle time performance. Support operations with equipment problems, investigate and provide technical advice implementing necessary changes to support production. Proven ability to investigate and resolve problems under own initiative, using the most current technology. Partner with different Engineering disciplines to deliver positive projects and line enhancements.Requirements:Degree in Engineering experience, with particular emphasis on electrical, mechanical, electronic, or automation discipline.Minimum 5 years controls / Automation engineering experience within a high-volume manufacturing operation.Project experience with knowledge of successful cost control advantageous.Good level of English language.Must have experience in:PLC Ladder and logic, monitoring, and programming.Integrated safety system – Relays / Pilz, Telemechanique.Servo motor and drives.HMI and SCADA programming.Siemens experience in Step 7, Profibus, Profisafe systems would be an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
