A job requires a qualified, professional and compassionate doctor with a great deal of patience and physical endurance. Helps in determining the cause of a work-related injury, decide how serious it appears to be, and assess the job site where the incident occurred. He/She might also conduct medical screenings or tests for an employer.**POSITION IN THE ORGANISATION****Organisation structure**:Site-Project / Environment, Health & Safety department**Reports directly to**:EHS manager**Other reporting to**:HR**Direct reports**:None**Network & Links **_Position title of connected positions_ / _functional report_**Internal**- Staff : Employees**External**- Local authorities (External occupational doctor, hospital, ambulance services)**ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES**Key accountabilities**:- Examines and provides treatments to injuries and refers patients to other physicians when needed (ophthalmologists, neurologists etc.).- Conducts routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues- Reaches an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient's medical history- Performs medical examinations during periodic visits (audiometry, view test,...)- Keeps records of patients' diseases, operations or other significant information (e.G. allergic episodes)- Proposes, participates, collaborates with individual and collective health actions by carrying out inspections and evaluations on workstations, in order to propose solutions for improving working conditions.- Participates in chemical risk management (product validation, support for measurement organizations, etc.)- Actively participates in the Health committees and working groups (addiction,)- Helps to detect situations of risk (stress,...) and offers support to the person or contacts the relevant services- Participates in the management of occupational injuries and occupational diseases by assisting managers for analysis of injuries, occupational diseases, and propose action plans.- Informs employees about the risks of accidents and occupational diseases and advises them on preventive measures (work equipment, work postures, PPE,etc.)- Manages internal training & Coaching trainees and temporary nurses
