We work on projects all around the world, in large cities and small towns, so our people must be willing to go where the work is.
Work assignment locations will be determined closer to your start date.
Must be able to travel and potentially relocate anywhere in the country, as frequently as business needs require.
**Position Overview**:
Management of the Control Process and Quality Assurance for all project documents.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Implement and maintain all document control standards, processes, and procedures.
- Manage the receipt, distribution, and recording of all incoming and outgoing documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain the electronic document management system (EDMS) for the Project Team.
- Maintain the controlled copies of the latest approved documents and issued for construction (IFC) drawings.
- Ensure the control and coordination of all project document data and that records are properly identified, distributed, and stored according to all process and procedures.
- Support the document control system by educating and training the Project Team in the management, distribution, and storage of their documents.
- Support the Construction Manager in the preparation of reports, logs, and registers.
- Act as the Prime Contact external Clients, Consultants and Suppliers to ensure efficient workflow, approvals, and document quality.
- Ensure that all information within the document management tool(s) is up-to-date and accurate in accordance with all policies and procedures.
- Monitor document review/approval progress in alignment with Procedures, Contracts and Procurement policies.
- Confirm that the Construction Manager(s) and Project Team are aware of all document control issues.
- Support the Project Team in the production of any work package documentation or drawing sets to enhance the quality of the system and ensure control.
**Requirements**:
- Education & Training in Records Management and Document Control
- Minimum of 2 years Construction/Engineering Sector Experience
- Experience using EDM systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, OpenText, MS Teams or other collaboration tools.
- Experience using MS-Office Suite, Office 365 especially with MS Excel
- Superior interpersonal and demonstrated facilitation skills, including the ability to motivate and influence others, build effective interpersonal relationships, and be able to foster and contribute to a positive and productive team environment
- Creative and innovative with assignments.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in work style to better respond to multiple requests/tasks and handle sudden changes in priorities.
Able to embrace and participate in change initiatives.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Up-to-date work permit for Mexico.
- Ability to travel using COVID 19 safety protocols.
