The Document Control Technician is ideal for detail-orientated professionals providing documentation management and support in multiple facets and departments of PSC Industries.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Work with all levels of the company to review, revise and develop documentation including but not limited to processes, procedures, work instructions, BOMs, laboratory inventory, etc.
- Control of Document and Control of Record implementation including but not limited to development and implementation of creating, updating, reviewing for compliance, controlling, storing and releasing for use.
- Draft, prepare, implement, facilitate approval and communication of existing and revised documents.
- Handle and file electronic and manual documentation.
- Adhere to retention policies for the company and those associated to ISO 9001:2015.
- Maintain and implement policies for development of new procedures ensuring continuity and standardization for all company locations.
- Initiate and track document reviews, edit and offer revision recommendations.
- Template development.
- Execute temporary deviation communication and retention. i.e. Receiving, routing the communication and near expiration notification.
- Record, distribute and retain meeting minutes for upper-level communication items.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Champion best practices.
- Reports to Corporate Quality Manager and work fluidly with IT department.
**Requirements and Qualifications**:
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Document Control and contractual retention requirements.
- Fluent in English
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with plant level and corporate level management.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Understanding of nomenclature and numbering system for document/record control and retention.
- Must be a team player and receptive to direction and collaborative change.
- High School Diploma plus minimum two years' experience specific to document control and affiliated.
