Purpose
Provides document control support on a project. Some understanding of how to identify and handle drawings and other technical engineering documents is required as is computer literacy in standard spreadsheet and word processing softwares.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for performing moderate to complex work assignments involving independent judgment to determine a course of action consistent with established functional and organization's policies and goals.- Responsible for the document control of a project.- Act as the primary interface between project personnel and the client for any document control related issues.- Ensure that all project documentation is accurately recorded, managed and issued through the Electronic Document Management System.- Generate an accurate database that contains every revision of all documents/drawings issued on a project and captures all required metadata for each record, including all documents issued to each company throughout the life of the project.
What you will bring
You will bring up to 3 years of experience in document control ideal for projects.
Typical Qualifications:
2-year Associate / Technical school graduate and 2+ years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Advanced support position, performing assignments that are broad and complex in nature.
