**Document Controller**

**About Silver Corp**: Vizsla Silver Corp is a Canadian mining company listed on the TSX and NYSE, currently in the development stage with a project in Sinaloa, Mexico.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Establish and Implement Document Control Policies**:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive document control system that aligns with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Create and update document control procedures, guidelines, and workflows.
- Ensure proper document classification, sorting, filing, and archiving.
- **Document Management**:
- Manage the receipt, distribution, and storage of all project documentation, including engineering drawings, technical documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date document register.
- Ensure all documents are correctly indexed and can be easily retrieved.
- **Collaboration and Coordination**:
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate document submissions.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to obtain necessary documentation and ensure compliance with document control standards.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Conduct regular audits to ensure documents are complete, accurate, and comply with internal and external requirements.
- Implement corrective actions for any identified document control issues.
- **Training and Support**:
- Provide training and support to team members on document control procedures and best practices.
- Assist in the development of training materials and resources.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance document control efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate them into the document control system.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in document control, within the mining or construction industry.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing document control policies and systems.
- Strong knowledge of document control standards and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
