The DYADlaw Translator will be a passionate advocate for Immigration and Immigrant Rights.
This position will be responsible for translating documents from Spanish to English, such as birth certifications, declarations, letters, and other legal documents, so that the information is accurately recorded for legal review.
**Compensation**:
$21,000 month MXN
**Responsibilities**:
- Translate documents from Spanish to English quickly and efficiently, providing accurate understanding, context, and meaning and staying attuned to subtleties and details in every document.
- Organize translated material and finalize translation according to standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
- Assist with interpretations (as needed).
- Be aware of the legal implications of certain word choices.
- Assist in developing and translating information on immigration, such as educational material for clients.
- Complete case tasks in the case management system.
- Other administrative and writing tasks (as needed).

- Must possess excellent written communication skills, having effective writing skills to meet the needs of the client/case needs.
- Proficient in English and Spanish.
- Must be organized, analytical, and strategic, finding ways to structure or classify multiple pieces of information.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and related software.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to prioritize and discern what is important, including a sense of urgency.
- Recognize the need and uphold confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to work independently and complete a set of tasks.
