Dram Design Engineer

Transform information into intelligence to accelerate learning, communication, and progress.Contribute to new memory product development by assisting in overall design, layout, and optimization of memory circuits. This includes:- Interpreting device specifications to produce required functionality:- Participating in new circuit conception and schematic design:- Performing circuit simulations using standard industry simulators:- Working with Process Integration to set model performance targets:- Responsible for reliability verificationOversee and manage layout, including floor-planning, placement, and routing optimization. Assist in standard cell development and optimize design rules for cost, performance, and functionality.Define array blocks and pitch cells by verifying proper word line and digit line lengths. Choose transistor sizes and types for pitch cells to achieve Vcell margin and performance.Manage verification processes by performing silicon versus schematic versus layout verification on required circuits. Responsible for simulation, Verilog, and parasitic modeling. Assist in silicon design validation, reticule experiments, and tape-out revisions.Maintain technical expertise and provide training. Communicate best known practices to the department, prepare detailed documentation, and contribute to global design forums.Contribute to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success. Work with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, CAD, and Product Engineering groups to ensure manufacturability of products.Manage and develop projects and teams. Plan and organize projects, track progress, and prepare project status reports for upper management.
