Our mission is to enrich life for all by empowering innovation and progress through our advanced memory and semiconductor technologies.As a key member of our team, you will be working with an exceptionally talented and passionate core team collaborating with peer teams across our global footprint in a multiple projects-based environment.Role and Responsibilities:Develop and design IP layouts used in DRAM chips.Perform layout verification, quality check, and documentation.Deliver block-level layouts on time with acceptable quality.Lead project planning, area/time estimation, scheduling, delegation, and execution to meet project deadlines.Guide and mentor junior team members in sub-block level layouts and review their work.Contribute to effective project management.Present material for global teams to review and optimize layout design.Collaborate with engineering teams in India, Japan, the US, and other global teams for layout project success.Requirements:5+ years of experience in layout designs in advanced CMOS process.Ability to perform IP layout development and physical verification activities for complex designs as per provided specifications.Expertise in layout area and routing optimization, design rules, yield, and reliability issues.Good understanding of layout fundamentals such as electro-migration, latch-up, coupling, crosstalk, IR-drop, parasitic analysis, matching, shielding, etc.Adequate knowledge of schematics, interface with circuit designer, and CAD team.Understanding of layout effects on the circuit such as speed, capacitance, power, and area.Excellent problem-solving skills in solving area, power, performance, and physical verification of custom layout.Experience with Cadence tools, including Virtuoso schematic editor, Virtuoso layout L, XL & Verification tools like Mentor Calibre.Leadership qualities and ability to multitask as required.Ability to work in a team environment and provide technical support to fellow team members.Self-motivated, hardworking, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of coding and layout automation is a plus.Education:BE/BTech or MTech in Electronic/VLSI Engineering or equivalent; we consider exceptionally talented Diploma holders in electronic or VLSI engineering.Micron is an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions, transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
