As a System Validation Engineer, you will join a team analyzing computer system-level failure analysis, characterization, and qualification of our products.Key responsibilities include running and configuring diagnostic software, crafting experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, debugging fails, developing custom tools, and communicating data to teams inside Micron.You will work with various equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, and multi-meters, collaborating with other specialists and teams including Application Engineering Groups, Product Engineering, Return Material Authorization (RMA), and throughout Micron.The seniority level offered will be based on a combination of experience and education, providing a career path with growth opportunities in an inclusive diverse environment.Responsibilities:Lead Micron Product Qualifications with Internal TeamsBuild and develop validation strategies for new or existing technologiesDesign and Implement Automation for System Level testingPerform Computer and System Characterization and Failure AnalysisQualifications:Experience/Understanding of hardware: X86, ARM, Computer, System, DRAM, Intel, AMDExperience/Understanding of equipment: Oscilloscope, logic analyzer, motherboardExperience/Understanding Software: Python, Linux, SQL, C#, GolangBachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or computer engineeringRole level dependent upon candidate skill and experienceWhat Sets You Apart:Knowledge in computer system and/or DRAM operationSelf-motivated and hard-workingExcellent collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skillsInnovative approach open to improving processes and products$80,000 - $120,000 per year salary range, depending on qualifications and experience.
