Drilling Fluids Specialist / México Offshore

Job Summary:

As a Drilling Fluids Specialist, you will supervise the implementation of planned drilling and completion fluids on the drilling platform. Your role includes ensuring all programs and procedures are executed safely and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

Supervise the implementation of drilling and completion fluids to achieve technical objectives in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Oversee the execution of drilling fluid and completion fluid programs, ensuring all information is followed as specified in company procedures.
Follow up daily on drilling/completion fluid operations and recommend changes to optimize efficiency.
Provide recommendations and special assistance when drilling problems occur.

Manage waste disposal services on the platform to preserve the environment and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Collaborate with engineering staff to implement changes in well programs to improve drilling and completion methods, techniques, and efficiency.
Conduct special reports on any aspects of drilling and completion operations related to well service fluids.
Offer on-site assistance in rig operations for specific jobs when requested.
Perform other duties as required on the drilling platform.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling and completion fluids management, preferably in offshore drilling operations
