.E&C + Renewable Energy Underwriter - Mexico CityWould you like to join a dynamic team responsible for handling Engineering & Construction Projects and Operational Renewable Energy deals in all Latin American Countries? This is a hybrid position which will offer strong opportunities for professional growth.About the RoleThis role requires you to target and assess E&C Projects for various industry classes and Renewable Energy deals, engage with brokers and clients in Latin America as well as booking the risks properly in our systems offering them the required maintenance over time.Key tasks:Grow profitably Wholesale E&C + Renewable Energy portfolio, while providing high-quality underwriting services and solutions to clients.Conduct post underwriting activities such as risk survey, account servicing, and claims support.Strengthen Swiss Re Corporate Solutions leading position in important Latin American markets based on company strategy, i.E., marketing activities, client underwriting training, risk survey, etc.Work together with cross-functional teams to strengthen partnerships with Wholesale clients to achieve win-win solutions.Play an active role in the Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Global Engineering community in terms of knowledge sharing, special projects, and/or research topics.Properly maintain underwriting documentation, ensure good data quality in underwriting system, and follow up post-bound activities such as premium payment, claim data, filing.Grant underwriting support to Direct Insurance operations in Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico through additional capacity, peer reviews, and phone calls.Develop the renewable energy book in Latin America focusing on Operational Wind Farms, Solar PV plants, and BESS.Work to improve processes and operational excellence within E&C and Renewable Energy.About the TeamThis position is part of a team composed of 4 underwriters with different backgrounds and split in Mexico and Brazil, which is responsible for 60%+ of the regional Gross Written Premium for this line of business in Latin America.
