**Job Description**:OVERVIEW AND BASIC FUNCTIONThe Executive Assistant Manager is in charge of directing the daily operations of the hotel. Attends the Managing Director in putting goals, strategies, and action plans in the hotel. Acts as Managing Director during his/her absence.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- To maintain ample knowledge and adapt to the departmental policies, service procedures and standards.- To ensure that the standards stay at a superior level daily and at any moment.- To supervise and direct the departments of Food & Beverage, Room Division, Engineering, Guest Relations and Spa.- To participate in the direction and the control of the departments of Accounting, Sales & Marketing and Human Resources as required by the Managing Director.- To attend to establishing and creating goals and strategies to achieve the operational and financial success of the hotel.- To keep in contact with the corporative offices in executing corporative goals.- To establish and maintain the standards of the hotel, to reach and maintain the "5 stars" status.- As a member of the Executive Committee, to work closely with other members in reaching the goals and objectives of the hotel- To interact in a courteous and professional form with the guests, personnel and members of the community.- Respond in a courteous, professional, and fast form to solve any conflict with guests or personnel.- To maintain a clean and safe job atmosphere.- To make other required tasks as seen necessary by the Managing Director.**Job Requirements**:- Minimum six year's hotel experience with at least three year's experience at the Executive level and experience in a minimum of two divisions of hotel operations- Required to speak, read and write Spanish and English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
