Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.About the Role / What You Will Do:- Ensure global alignment with internal compliance policies and applicable compliance laws; be a leader in demonstrating Our Values in Action- Assist in development, implementation, training and support of processes and controls to support various enterprise compliance requirements- Work with global Solar business teams to mitigate compliance risks in collaboration with compliance program managers- Support anti-bribery requirements for onboarding and screening of suppliers and third-party intermediaries- Assist Solar's global business team with customer interactions such as qualification requirements, courtesy and event protocols, and other compliance-related inquiries- Interact with Solar's global business process owners where personal information is processed and provide coaching and support on proper protections and tracking of processes- Coordinate with Solar and Caterpillar internal audit teams for proper and timely execution of global audits on compliance capabilities and remediation actions- Coordination of compliance learning activities, including ensuring accuracy of role-based assignments, responding to employee inquiries, and providing metrics to global leaders- Be an active and supportive member of Caterpillar's Compliance Community, participating in community activities, sharing of best practices, and alignment of processes across Caterpillar business unitsRole DefinitionEnsure compliance with the enterprise and business division's ethical standards and examine any non-compliance issues.Responsibilities- Conducting routine reviews and assessments of business unit processes to ensure compliance and managing process of correcting noncompliance and compliance gaps.- Implementing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and providing general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.- Developing, recommending, and implementing proactive programs and practices to reduce noncompliance.- Maintaining and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the compliance program and its related activities.Degree RequirementDegree or equivalent experience desiredSkill DescriptorsBusiness Ethics: Knowledge of practices, behaviors, applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing proper business conduct; ability to demonstrate ethical behavior in diverse situations
