Eaton's Corporate Sectordivision is currently seeking aBid Manager Technician.What you'll do:Job SummarySupports the CRDS and CDPA takeoffs Product Line Bid Manager team to maintain tables and rules, and to enhance the quality of product takeoffs. As a tool subject matter expert, provide assistance to others within the product line and manufacturing functions with regard to takeoff issues.Job ResponsibilitiesA. Creation, design and maintain new and old Products for the CRDS and CDPA takeoffs Product Line Bid Manager and MI Manager tables and rules.B. Maintain Bid Manager lead time indicator master list for the product line. Coordinate with team members, with team manager and pertinent others to ensure accuracy of lead time indicators within the software tool.C. Specify each character in each attribute value, to form the catalog codes of each product.D Participate in testing events, as required, to ensure quality product takeoffsE Support team goal to achieve Product Line Growth targets via participation in new product development project teams as a representative for the Bid Manager support groupF. Ensure that assigned Bid Manager Change Management requests are managed and completed in a timely fashion, with status communication to the appropriate stakeholderG. Provide backup support as required to other team membersH. Support and assist product line, front-end and production teams in resolution of process and/or information quality problems associated with the Bid Manager takeoff toolI. Provide input to the monthly operations reportJ Participate in Lean events and contribute to process improvements designed to reduce cycle time, increase efficiencies and improve information quality.K. Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, including 5S requirements, and responsible for reporting unsafe conditions to the appropriate management or MESH representativeL.
