Description: The IT EDI Analyst is responsible for day-to-day support of the global BPI EDI environment with Oracle and 3 rd Party EDI Managed Services. Position is responsible for monitoring transaction flow between BPI Oracle and its EDI trading partners, tracking errors and taking corrective action. Position requires a very strong attention to detail. This position frequently interacts with external trading partners and internal customer service groups. Essential Responsibilities: - Monitoring transaction flows & errors within EDI process using Oracle, Gentran, and VLTrader - Coordinate New Partner setups with internal teams and 3P EDI Provider. - Coordinate Production Enhancement Requests for new & existing maps with EDI Provider - Knowledge of Sterling Integrator Envelopes and Application Integrator Mapper to assist in troubleshooting - Working knowledge of EDI Standards (ANSI x12, EDIFACT, VDA) for trading partners in OE/OES and Retail - Comprehensive understanding of inbound and outbound Oracle Gateway files related to content and business use - Knowledge of Oracle functionality as it relates to EDI. - Independently perform integration testing between Oracle modules and EDI Provider tools. Requirements: - Excellent analytical capability with strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to meet deadlines - Very strong attention to detail Education and Experience: - BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field required - Experience in large, complex EDI environment - Experience working with EDI setup into Oracle E-Commerce Gateway, Order Management, Release Management modules - Experience with retail, OE and distribution trading partners - Experience in Automotive Industry and manufacturing environment - Desired experience with X12, EDIFACT and VDA.First Brands Group is a proud equal opportunity employer.
