The Content and Media team is part of Gracenote, a Nielsen company. It provides entertainment metadata, content IDs and related offerings to the world's leading creators, distributors and platforms. Gracenote technology enables advanced content navigation and discovery capabilities so consumers can easily connect to the TV shows, movies, music and sports they love while delivering powerful content analytics making complex business decisions simpler.The Editor collects new and updates existing entertainment data for key audio-on-demand (podcast) database fields. Establishes and enhances database records and assets. Maintains accurate database information for timely use in supporting current domestic and international products.**Responsibilities**:- Review and consolidate incoming content data to records in our media databases.- Enhance content, adding metadata such as categories, personnel, keywords, descriptors, and other classifications.- Investigate, confirm and document questionable content via research, and correct errors to ensure the accuracy of our data.- Identify and collect images available for processing.- Ensure the accuracy of data and authenticity of program information and timely delivery to in-house personnel.- Provide feedback on editorial tools improvement and operational needs and collaborate with the worldwide editorial team.**Qualifications**:- Experience reviewing and navigating large amounts of textual information.- Ability to abide by and inform style guidelines to ensure data consistency.- Skilled at online research about entertainment and news, and the ability to translate this into organized data.- Passionate and knowledgeable on regional news, pop culture, and media, as well as popular trends and news in other parts of the world.- Spanish and English writing and verbal skills.- Must work accurately under deadlines and be willing to work outside regular business hours.- Windows proficiency and/or experience using other computer software and databases with excellent keyboarding skills.Do you want to move the industry forward with Nielsen?
