To do this, we are investing in technology, and businesses focusing on micro-transit, commercial solutions for fleet customers, enhancing the vehicle ownership experience and developing the Transportation Mobility Cloud, which will host mobility-related solutions.THE ROLE:The Electrical and Electronics Vehicle Evaluation and Verification Sign Off Engineer will create and execute test plans, on the Hardware and Software releases, on bench and/or vehicle before they reach the final customer as part of the product development process.YOUR IMPACT:The EE VEV Sign off Engineer is responsible of the creation and execution of a Design Verification Plan to ensure the Hardware and Software releases meet the functionality design intent and comply with government and company requirements before releasing to the public.The EE VEV Sign off Engineer will perform electrical testing on vehicles and benches for different company car lines. In case of any issue/malfunction is detected, the engineer will be responsible to document it, troubleshoot it and/or coordinate the issue resolution with stakeholders and follow it up for a successful closure.The EE VEV Sign off Engineer will create a test report, with technical evidence, to present it in technical and program management forums.The EE VEV Sign off Engineer will develop new methods and solution testing to support the design verification efficiency strategy.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:The Electrical and Electronics Vehicle Evaluation and Verification Engineer requires the following:BS in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Automotive or Similar).Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish).Knowledge or experience on:Diagnostic Tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.).CAN Tools ( CANoe, CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy, DET).Communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet).Programming Languages.Vehicles general electrical architecture.Electronic signal processing.Experience in testing requirements using design verification methods.Experience in testing or developing electrical system interfaces.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Teamwork skills.Hands on type personality.Automotive general knowledge
