Position Summary:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- As a part of the supervisory responsibilities, if there is not an employee to attend the process, the direct boss will have to attend the process or assign the activities to another employee (with equal qualifications).
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze the risks and behaviors of people, looking for the "mindset" of good safety practice.
Identify high-risk operations, seeking the implementation and process changes to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with Safety-related legal requirements.
- Investigation of accidents and incidents in order to determine the causes and motives that generate accidents and incidents to mitigate them through problem solving and Yokoten (sharing knowledge).
- Generate safety standards, implementing the system of safety standards and through detection of near misses, where the same employees know detect unsafe acts and conditions.
- Authorize and monitor risk jobs performed by employees and contractors; compliance with safe work of internal and external employees (contractors), through the provision of training, work permits, and audits.
- Contractor management
- Detection of unsafe acts and conditions (near misses), aiming to mitigate and control similar situations where an accident can occur.
- Assistant store hazardous, urban solid and special handling waste, responsible for receiving hazardous waste and electronic logbook registration.
- Waste management
- Chemical substances storage and handling supervisor.
- Hazardous waste containers labeling and identification.
- Safety and Environmental Campaigns assist.
- Emergency response brigade member.
- Internal & External Audits Suppor, ISO 14001-2015, ISO 45001- 2018, CTPAT and OEA
- Preparation and updating of procedures and Audits
- Implementation of basic processes in environmental legal requirements, safety and occupational health.
- Making purchases through the Ariba System.
- Responsible for 5 Ss audits and management of the Helios system.
- Approval, implementation, and update of Kaizen in Confluence system.
- Trainer focused on safety, environmental and security
Basic Qualifications:

- Proffesional Degree
- 2-5 years of related experience.
- Experience in the automotive industry preferably
- Knowledge of Government obligations regarding industrial safety, health and environmental laws and regulations.
- Internal Auditor in ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Environmental, Safety and Security Compliance knowledge.
