Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking an EHS Analyst.
What you'll do:
The EHS Analyst position is responsible for the safe handling of hazardous waste generated in the plant.

MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collection and segregation, packaging and storage of hazardous waste from production areas.
Keeping logbook of incoming and outgoing hazardous waste in the warehouse.
Support in the storage of Special Handling Waste (cardboard, scrap metal, plastic, common waste).
Procedures for the shipment of hazardous waste for final disposal.
Assistance in the handling of chemicals in production areas (washing of special fuses).
Providing information for the preparation of the Annual Operation Card before SEMARNAT.
Provide information for the preparation of the semiannual report to SEDUE Chih. state government.
Support in the recertification of MESH, EMSE, ISO 14001, BASC systems, etc.
Inventory, control, administration of mobile firefighting system (fire extinguishers).
Member of the Emergency Brigade and member of the CSHMA.
Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements of the company.
Comply with the requirements of the company's Quality system.
Employ and update property security procedures.
Investigate accidents and incidents.
Disseminate safety culture.
Supervision of contractors' work.
Compliance with legal requirements matrix.
Review of MOC, JSA and non-routine work.
Qualifications:
Basic position requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position.
Experience in safe handling of chemicals.
Experience in safe waste handling.
Basic office knowledge.
Fluent English.
Additional Information:
Quality Systems / Corporate Programs: Ensure compliance, where applicable, with systems and/or programs such as, but not limited to ISO 9000-2015, ISO 14001, Underwriters Laboratory, NEMA, etc.
