.Eaton's IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a EHS Engineer.**What you'll do**:**Job summary**This position provides environmental, health, and safety, stability to the site. Individual is accountable for: supporting EHS activities; accomplish EHS objectives and targets; internal reporting of EHS performance; review and be aware of national, and local regulatory requirements, and; ensuring documents are available in the local language, maintaining site ZWTL certification; assuring accurate and complete EHS reporting of metrics; assuring closure of MESH and regulatory agency findings on a timely basis; completion of required training; helping to direct actions during crises; site security, maintaining a strong EHS culture that engages employees throughout the site. Carry out all activities according to Eaton's Ethics and Values.**Job responsibilities**- Interacts directly with the all areas on site in the development, implementation and execution of this division's Annual EHS Action Plan and EHS projects.- The EHS Engineer actively participates in the Corporate EHS Audit Program as an auditor.- Ensure EHS Compliance Calendars are developed and maintained, and that required activities occur to maintain EHS compliance- Ensure process in place for investigation of employee concerns, EHS Incidents, and Employee Observations/Near Misses, along with corrective action development, implementation and follow-up- Ensure the development of emergency brigades and emergency preparedness for the site.- Maintain and communicate EHS metrics as required, to facility, division and/or corporate EHS management.- Evaluate effectiveness of existing EHS programs; determine the need for any additional programs; develop and implement additional programs as needed.- Ensure facility maintain systems to track necessary data for environmental reports, along with timely report submittal.- Develop and facilitate all required EHS training.- Facilitates risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects. Works with cross-functional team to work targets and objectives based on key EHS risks.- Works to develop MESH element champions and facilitate their engagement in ownership of the MESH elements. Acting as a Champion or Co-Champion in several categories or elements (according with the assignment matrix).- Drives and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site."**Qualifications**:**Education level required**- Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical field, preferably engineering, chemistry, or EHS management.- STPS, SEMARNAT, CEDES, OSHA, LFT, Protección Civil, normativity knowledge- ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 knowledge
