As an EHS Lead engineer you will maintain the fire system and alarm systems during the project construction phase. You will also manage all safety, health and environmental requirements and protocols during the construction process (following current Mexican standards ). You will also validate and coordinate the emergency protocols between the plant and the NNR project. You will report to the EHS director.**Main Responsibilities.**- Guide the management of "performance" engineers, in addition to providing support to contractors and project personnel in the scope of security and fire systems.- Through inspections, you will manage and validate the implementation of safety standards and protocols in construction areas, developed in engineering.- Validate and update the emergency response protocol during the development of the project.- Guide in the interpretation of plans and all documents related to the fire and alarm system in the NNR construction process.- Validate, approve and verify the solution to possible deviations in the assembly process of the fire and alarm system.**Qualifications.**- Education as a Mechanical engineer or related.- Previous experience in the basics and detailed engineering of the fire and alarm systems.- +5 years experience in infrastructure project activities- Knowledge of Auto CAD, Revit, Neodata, Solid Works, SAP, Smart Plant 3D, hydra cad, elite fire, Hidcal, Aloha and Microsoft packaging software.- Familiar with NFPA codes and standards- English 80%Benefits included will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process, like medical benefits, life insurance and more.**About us**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way: We partner with customers to create mutual value.
