**Technical Ceramics** business of Morgan Advanced Materials engineers high performance functional and structural ceramic materials, components and sub-assemblies to address customer-specific technical challenges.

**Responsibilities**:
Ensure that the employees and facilities to comply with the safety, hygiene and environmental standards established by the NOM's and the corporate.
- Develop the work plan to comply with the requirements expressed in the Official Mexican Standards for safety, hygiene, environment and transport of materials, hazardous materials as well as corporate requirement.
- Evaluates EHS strategy to develop annual site plans and objectives.
- Responsible for developing and operating EHS management systems to achieve compliance with all local, state and federal requirements.
- Manage waste streams including hazardous, non-hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, residual, and recycled
- Recommend and drive continuous improvement activities and implementation of engineering changes related to safety, ergonomics, employee health, environmental compliance, environmental performance, and reduction in the use of energy and water.
- Responsible for developing and operating EHS management systems to achieve compliance with all local, state and federal requirements.
- Responsible for both conducting EHS training and ensuring that EHS training is conducted and records are maintained in compliance with local, state and federal regulations and corporate requirements and company policies.
- Lead accident investigation projects to comply with the guidelines established by the corporate and, if applicable, with the NOM's.
- Coordinate the display of the information presented in the area assigned to the EHS department.
- Supervise the control of safety materials and Personal Protective Equipment necessary for the consumption of the plant.
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements regarding asset security.
- Communicates and helps administer Company Policies on Safety and Health.
- Act as the thinkSAFE ambassador
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

- At least 5 years' experience as an EHS Site Lead in an industrial environment.
- Good communication skills that focus on simplicity and clarity of presentation, both written and oral.
- Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to work with a diverse team in terms of seniority, function and culture.
- Attention to detail and an ability to deliver within rigid timeframes.
- Good cost control and experience of working to budgets and maintaining annual expenditure to meet forecasts
