.Business Area:**Location**:Ciudad Juárez, MXCountry:Employment type:**global job with an impact**In the job as EHS Lead Engineer you will have the chance to provide support to the organization, impact product development and your own daily tasks and responsibilities. You will experience a very varied working day in a dynamic organization.**Objective**:The person will be responsible for the plant EHS activities, documentation, and implementation of safety culture in our Juarez, Mexico facility. Will be responsible to implement and coordinate all needed environmental, safety and health activities, engaging all level of employees in the organization aligning the activities with the company's required calendar activities and programs.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Responsible to develop documentation for our EHS Program as well as maintain all evidence, records and all legal paperwork related to the function and activities.- Schedule internal audits, training, culture promotion, job and safety analysis, equipment & machinery, material safety data sheets, accident and incident investigation and analysis, health and safety compliance and work permits, emergency preparedness, personal protective equipment, hygiene control, construction and installation contractors' safety, ergonomics, safety culture and safe behaviors.- Implements Environmental culture according to company standards, recycling, trash segregation, internal audits, environmental aspects, instructions and procedures, control of chemical products- Receive and respond to any legal audits including and not limited to STPS, Profepa, IMSS, etc.- Receive and approve all needed aspects of safety and environmental aspects of new machinery for production.- Coordinate all needed efforts to maintain protocols for COVID-19 according to company's standards, legal requirements and worldwide needs.- Develops and ensures all trainings for all levels of employees related to EHS- Lead and maintain all requirements from LEED Certification- Ensure all incidents, accidents are properly investigated along with other departments, as well as coordinating preventive and corrective measures to avoid any loss time for production.**Required Basic Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering and or any other related field.- 5+ years' experience in Maquiladora legal requirements- Fluent bilingual Spanish/English- Excellent oral and written communication skills to promote and engage all employees in a Safety Culture- Knowledge of all the different Norms to cover in the Mexico legal frame.- Documentation and Implementation of EHS processes and programs**Work Environment**:This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards
