**Position Summary**
The position is responsible for planning, developing and monitoring activities and programs in the areas of Safety, Security Protection, Internal Medical Service, Environmental and Hygiene, aimed at establishing a culture of safety, reducing the risks and complying with federal, state and municipal programs in legal matter of safety, environmental, civil protection and hygiene, as well as supervising that medical care is provided to employees who require it, to ensure that the organization remains at the forefront of Environmental, Health and Safety and complies with the certifications, Corporate Requirements and Norms or Standards in this regard.
**Responsibilities**
- Ensure the facility in compliance with all local, state, federal, and corporate regulations or requirements as well as STPS, Semarnat, INE, DGE, ISO 14001, and related requirements.
- Advise to the management staff, in matters of risk prevention, for the different activities carried out in each area, or in new projects, studies, ergonomic studies and risk analysis.
- Develop and deploy the guidelines, policies and procedures related to the EHS area and applicable to the entire company.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of the Medical Service, Facility Protection, Industrial Safety, Hygiene and Environmental.
- Ensure the protection of the assets and human resources of the company, through the plant protection system.
- Ensure the implementation of the controls related under Parker directives of the security protection system (CCTV, access control, etc.)
- Ensure that contractor activities comply with the safety and environmental standards established in the organization and according to the legal requirements applicable
- Supervise the maneuvers and qualification of the evacuation and emergency response brigades, first aid, firefighting equipment and handling of chemical substances.
- Development and implementation of training and certifications required in safety, environmental and hygiene.
- Coordinate the activities of the local Safety Star Point and Natural HPTs related.
- Support to the Steering committee, meeting support, goal development, audits.
- Be the leader for the health and safety commission team and the Health and Safety Annual Program.
- Responsibility for the proper control and management of hazardous chemicals and wastes and fire hazard conditions.
- Development and implementation of safety audits on machinery, equipment, and facilities, according the country, division and group requirements.
- Attention to internal and external audits on EHS.
- Responsible for monitoring operational control related to environmental aspects and if is the case implement and maintain the ISO14001 certification.
- Business Continuity Plan, development and update according corporate requirements. (BCP)
- Certify and maintain adequate compliance with the CTPAT- OEA Standard.
- Participation in Kaizen events, when appropriate be a facilitator or leader
- Deploy and Implement the directives, policies and procedures related to the ESG - Environment, Social and Governance - in the organization.
- Generate and keep management indicators updated, should being promoted, and communicated properly.
- Implement carbon footprint reduction plan.

- Engineering degree
- Knowledge of Mexican NOMs and ISO 14001.
- At least 5 years as responsible of EHS department.
- Advanced English.
- Leader Auditor (desirable) - Internal Auditor Certification ISO14001.
- Knowledge of STPS, SEMARNAT, Health Secretary
- Knowledge of FMEA analysis, Kaizen activities,
- Knowledge in determining the IMSS risk premium.
- Knowledge CTPAT - OEA
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in coordinating environmental and safety activities (understand and develop safety program)
- First aid/ CPR, evacuation procedures, chemical handle, lockout tagout/ hazardous waste management.
