We are looking for an EHS Manager who is responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing safety, protection, environmental, and hygiene activities and programs aimed at establishing a safety culture, reducing the Risk Premium Factor, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and municipal legal programs regarding safety, civil protection, and hygiene. The role also supervises the provision of medical care to employees who need it to ensure the company stays at the forefront of environmental, health, and safety standards, maintains certifications and regulations, and projects future compliance.
About the Job:
- Responsible for the EHS Management System.- Coordinate and supervise activities related to Medical Services, Plant Protection, Industrial Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Protection.- Ensure compliance with and oversee the fulfillment of legal obligations in environmental, health, and safety matters.- Prepare reports and performance indicators.- In case of emergency, establish necessary actions for complete control of the facilities.- Halt any unsafe operation, equipment, or machinery that poses a safety risk. About You:
- Degree in Engineering (Environmental, Biology, Safety and Hygiene), not limited to these fields.- Knowledge of ISO 14001, 45000.- Excellent communication skills.- Ability to adapt and work effectively at all levels within the company.- Strong time and resource management skills.- More than 5 years of experience in a similar role.- Knowledge of STPS, ISO, and other applicable legal audits.- Training in applicable NOMs, such as RSP, Heights, SGA, OSHA, among others.
