**P****OSITION IDENTIFICATION****P****osition Title**:EHS Specialist**Job Code**:**Organization**:Outdoor**Department**:Health and Safety**Location***:Nogales**Reports to/ Supervises**:Karen Adame**PURPOSE OF POSITION**- Engine Plant EH&S Support**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**- Weekly Walk arounds to ensure EH&S Compliance- Closing safety corrective actions and Safety Catch Cards- Keep records for compliance as well as KPI's with visibility for all team members.- Develop EHS Training & Certification for all areas.- Enforce contractor compliance policies.- Implement Ergonomic projects as needed.- Updating different EH&S and Environmental programs.- Follow up on incidents/accidents action items.- Participate in internal EHS Brigades programs.- Approving & validating chemical sheets for different components.- Equipment Safety reléase programs.- Participate on daily safety huddles throughout all the facilities.- Creating/adjusting EHS policies as needed, along with deploying communication strategies.- Participation on EHS events programs, fire drills, etc.- Participation on External Audits**Responsibilities associated with the ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001 Management Systems**- Ensure EHS related paperwork is up to date for any ISO9001 Audits1**P****osition Title**:EHS Specialist**Education and Experience**:- **Bachelors Degree (Industrial Engineer)****General Competences**:- Courage & Innovation.- Agility & Performance.- Inclusivity & Collaboration.- Integrity & Accountability.**Specific Competences**:- Experience in Health & Safety and Environmental- Capable of developing, implementing, and following up on safety programs.- STPS, CEDES, SEMARNAT regulatory knowledge- Civil protection knowledge- Proactivity.- Planification and organization.- Teamwork.- Result Orientated.- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
