**Job Summary**
provides leadership and program management of Callaway Golf's Environmental & Safety programs in the Monterrey operation. Indirectly receives direction from the Safety Program Manager, and Operations Director regarding operating needs and priorities. Emphasis will be in the management of safety programs, hazardous waste and materials, EH&S regulatory compliance, sustainability, industrial hygiene, fire code, training and emergency preparedness/response. The EH&S Supervisor interprets, develops and implements programs to comply with environmental, health and safety regulations, good business practices and/or company policies, and assists in planning for changes in physical facilities to meet new environmental and safety requirements. Finds, evaluates, prepares and manages contracts for properly licensed hazardous waste disposal and recycling firms and monitors waste handling. Organizes and directs and emergency response activities.

**Responsibilities**:
**SAFETY**
- Response to and support of all corporate safety and health issues for the Callaway de Mexico SA de CV facilities.
- Interpretation and communication of federal, state and local EH&S regulations and responsible to full fill the compliance matrix
- Facility Safety compliance inspections.
- Job Safety Analysis.
- Facilitate and conduct safety committee meetings.
- Facilitate safety incentive programs.
- Machine guarding evaluations, design and auditing.
- Develop Safety Aids, procedures, and training specific to site operations.
- Develop and provide comprehensive safety training to include new hire orientation, Hazard Communication, Lockout Tagout, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Protection, Eye and Face Protection, Confined Space, Chemical Hygiene, Laser Safety, Fall Protection, Radiation Safety, Fire Prevention, Portable Fire Extinguishers.
**FIRE**
- Manage the Fire Prevention program including the Hot Work Permit policy
- Manage facility wide fire code compliance to include: alarm panel service, coordination with property insurance company, servicing of building sprinklers and fire suppression systems and routine inspection of fire extinguishers.
**ENVIRONMENTAL**
- Ensures compliance with environmental regulations and site policies.
- Finds, evaluates, prepares and manages contracts for properly licensed hazardous waste. disposal and recycling firms and monitors waste handling.
- Recycling program management and reporting.
- Sustainability: coordinate facility sustainability objectives and report metrics to stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to routinely handle multiple-priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to interface, communicate and negotiate with all levels of management.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field.
- Relevant experience or certification by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH), the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), the Institute of Hazardous Materials Managers (IHMM) or Institute of Professional Environmental Practice (IPEP).
- 5-10 Years hands on experience with safety, industrial hygiene and hazardous waste management.
- Computer Skills i.e., Word, Excel, Access.
