STPS (Mexican OSHA, Mexican EPA).- Report monthly safety and environmental indicators to the company's environmental and safety departments.- Ensure Fire Protection at work.- Training of labeling and blocking of machines.- Safety in press operations, safety machines and cranes.- Ensure protection in presses and protection in machines.- Ensure safety in forklift operations.- Control of hazardous chemicals.- Ensure safety in the use of combustible gases, pressures and leak detection.- Coordinate aisle boundaries and safety signs.- Make waste shipments from the different processes in our facilities.- Perform the necessary actions to comply with Mexican environmental laws.- Carry out research activities to improve our industrial process.- Supervision of Environmental Staff.- Responsibilities regarding Management Systems (ISO 9001 and others):- To comply with and act according to Leroy-Somer's policies and follow up the instructions documented to support systems.- Responsible for notifying to the Management System when any of the objectives, indicators and parameters established to monitor the performance of the process under his charge show a result out of the expected.- Contribute with the company in the achievement and improvement of the targets trough participating actively in the programs developed to reach them.- To report any EHS hazards, accidents, incidents or dangerous occurrences (close-call situations) to their supervisor or EHS area; and conduct themselves in a safe and orderly manner in the workplace.- Perform all other tasks or responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor.Additional Job Details- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job
