Ehs Technician

**Work Schedule**Standard (Mon-Fri)**Environmental Conditions**Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)Do you want to be part of the EHS team?The EHS technician works with EHS Manager, direct with operational Safety Inspection implementing key EHS programs and the training program to ensure a safe and healthy workstation for all employees, in compliance with all safety and environmental legal matters.**Job Duties and General Responsibilities**:We care for the people, thats why we work every day to make the World Healthier, Cleaner, Safer. Your main responsibilities will be:Work with the EHS Manager to implement and promote Safety awareness and Safety campaigns. Conduct safety inspections daily at the plant and risk areas, identify risks, close findings and prevent accidents.Is part of the accidents investigation teamIs a Safety trainer for all new employees and regular employees according with the Safety Training Plan. Works with Manager and leaders conducting JSA by area.Leads the Safety Committee and Emergency Team.Hazardous Waste administration from different areas.Identify and control of hazardous chemicals.Participates in EHS internal audits and SOP compliance.Evaluate safety permits to internal employees and contractors.Evaluate risk activities for contractors.Implement EHS Projects Support CTPAT ActivitiesAdministrate EHS SystemOther tasks and duties must be assigned, as required.
