**Job Description Summary**: We are looking for a Bachelor´s degree Engineering Student would like to be part of a team in charge of a critical process for the aviation business.
The ownership of CF34 Fleet Model belongs to GEIQ, and as part of this team you'll be working with commercial customer fleet operational data classification, cleaning, and wrangling, along with statistics to execute models used to predict fleets engine Performance time on wing.
You will be responsible for deliverables that will be shared with Senior Leadership (up to VP levels).
**_ ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES_**
- Data Extraction and Preparation - ability to work with multiple data types and outlier identification
- Field events investigation/classification
- Basic Statistical Analyses (Descriptive Statistics and Hypothesis Testing)
- Weibull analysis for SV stream forecast modeling
- Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to collect information, validate and share outputs
**_ REQUIREMENTS_**
- Engineer student of Bachelor´s degree.
- Degree must be in:
- Physics / Engineering / Applied Mathematics / Data Science & Analytics (or related fields)
- Disciplined, self-driven, can work independently without supervision.
Shows initiative and is proactive
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel for data management (cleansing, wrangling, and plotting)
- Understanding of basic statistic concepts and tools
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- Presentation Skills: ability to communicate with Senior Leadership

- SQL for Data Extraction
- Project Management Skills
- Skilled in SAS JMP and/or Minitab
- Programming skills (Python, R)
- Experience using W++
