**Description**
**Accountabilities**
- Maintains direct channel of communication with other KCS departments to ensure marketing and sales plans and goals are aligned with other departments.
- Manages customer relationships with key current and future customers, partners and stakeholder organizations as required to achieve the business strategy
- Effectively communicate terms of sale and collaborate with key stakeholder by actively execute account and commodity sales strategy
- Serves as the main contact for assigned customers.
- Establishes strategy for markets for which they are responsible; Develops account strategies and plans.
- Plans and owns oversight and analysis of revenue and contributions; forecasts and determines market outlook for area of responsibility.
- Develop creative solutions and make good value trades during negotiations
- Works to optimize market share, meet yield, price, total revenue targets and standardsHandles all business development activities within business unit.
- Exemplifies CPKC Vision, Values, and Culture interactions with coworkers, business partners, customers and stakeholders.
**Required**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish, written and spoken.
**Preferred**
- Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- KCS network experience, specifically in sales, marketing, customer relations, rail or logistics.
**Working Conditions**
- This position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday. There may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.
- This position may require mínimal travel up to 10% of the time.
