Provide engineering support in controls and electronic systems. Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to improve effectiveness of the manufacturing facilities. Implement and provide engineering support for small and large cost and capital projects. Support the performance and improvement of the control distribution system. Support the performance and improvement of the site instrumentation and electronic equipment. Develop preventive and predictive programs for the Electronic & Instrument scope. Participate in project teams and all activities related to Electronic & Instrument support. Conduct field assessments and audits on Electronic & Instrument equipment. Lead and implement all Chemours standard/policy. Provide technical expertise to communicate/work with other internal and external engineers. Provide technical guidance and review for electronic and control procedures, programs, and safe work practices. Provide engineering support and expertise for Process Safety Management (PSM) through participation in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs). Troubleshoot electronic, controls, and instrument problems as needed for the operating areas. Lead RCFAs pertaining to electronic and controls systems. Provide electronic and instrumentation engineering assistance to maintenance and operations including troubleshooting, evaluation of equipment failures, and technical recommendations for repairs and upgrades, and ownership of improvements. Develop knowledge in area specific equipment to become subject matter experts for the review and preparation of maintenance inspection & work procedures and skills development/training. Prepare and audit scopes of work, estimates, schedules, and equipment specifications. Review preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimum process and frequency of performance.
