In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.Reporting to the Product Development Manager you as an Electric Vehicle Fuse Engineer will be responsible to design, develop, modify, and evaluate recommendations for product development or enhancement.About the Job:- Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates options and makes sound design recommendations for product development or enhancement.- Assist in the development of high voltage (450-1500VDC/VAC) overcurrent protection products, specific to the electric vehicle industry. Participate with a cross-functional development team while aiding in the technical aspects of the development process. Execute on the initial concept as well as provide input on the prototype plan from planning/feasibility stage through production release. Following guidance, research of new materials and process technologies that may be beneficial in developing/manufacturing "ground-breaking" or "new-to market" products. Willingness to engage with hands on work to assist in the building and testing of products being developed.- Prepares reports and technical specifications.- Assists with project management and scheduling of customer requirements.- Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements.- Other duties as assigned.- Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila.About You:- Education: Bachelor or university degree in Engineering.- Almost 5 years of experience.- Familiarity with engineering practices.- Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred.- Knowledge in MS Office.- Strong analytical skills.- Strong communication skills.- High attention to detail.Littelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.
