.Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer with 3-15 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
In this role, you will design, program, and maintain electrical control systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
You will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and field teams to successfully implement control solutions.Key Responsibilities:Control System Design:Lead the design and development of electrical control systems, including control panels, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Select and specify electrical components (PLCs, sensors, relays, actuators) for projects.Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.PLC Programming & Troubleshooting:Program and configure PLCs (Primarily Rockwell, Siemens, etc.)
for automation systems.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in control systems, including PLCs, I/O devices, motion devices and sensors.Perform functional testing and optimize PLC programs for efficiency and reliability.Program and configure HMI's (Human Machine Interfaces).System Integration & Testing:Oversee the integration of electrical control systems with mechanical systems (motors, drives, etc.
).Conduct system testing, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), to ensure systems perform as expected.Coordinate commissioning and troubleshooting activities on client sites.Documentation & Reporting:Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including electrical drawings, control system manuals.Ensure project documentation is up-to-date and accurate for both internal use and client deliverables.Work closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Provide technical support to installation teams during the commissioning phase.Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior engineers and clients.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical controls and automation.Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical issues and design decisions.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.Experience: 3-15 years of experience in electrical controls, industrial automation, or related areas.Skills: Proficient in PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.)

Strong understanding of electrical control systems, including power distribution, motor control, and safety systems.
Experience with electrical design software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.).
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus etc.
