**Engineer II - Job Summary**
The Engineer II will report to the Engineering Manager and support both internal and external customers by designing and developing electro-mechanical products.
Responsibilities include creating designs, technical documentation, 3D models, and BOMs using CAD software.
The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and align with business needs.
Expertise in power electrical equipment, UL Standards, and NEC requirements is required.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and develop electro-mechanical products and systems.
- Create and update technical drawings, specifications, and fabrication instructions.
- Support pre-sale and post-sale processes, including technical submittals and customer communication.
- Use CAD tools like SolidWorks/AutoCAD to develop models and schematics.
- Maintain compliance with UL and NOM certifications.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers.
- Participate in ERP system implementation and updates.
- Occasionally travel within Mexico and the USA for technical support.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with electrical and power equipment.
- 3+ years working with regulatory agencies and NOM certification (preferred).
- Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with UL standards.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel and collaborate across teams.
**Salary**: $35-45k MXN.
