.**Job Description Summary**: Electrical design engineer is responsible to lead (Technically and Project management) medium size NPI, PCO, OTR electrical projects in close collaboration with Global Technical Leader for TM2500/LM2500Xpress product lines. This includes technical improvement of existing products in the field such subcases and RAMS, support to Manufacturing resolving NCRs and technical support to ITO with Bid &Proposals. Electrical scope includes design/selection of Controls hardware, instrumentation and electrical large components such Generator, Switchgear among others. He/She will work with a team of engineers and be responsible for by providing leadership and technical support to ensure programs success meeting business objectives.**Roles and Responsibilities**- Lead the Electrical Design of an Aero-derivative Gas Turbine Package subprojects is support to Technical Leader- Reading, interpretation and development of One Line and Three Line Diagrams, Wiring/Schematic Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, I/O Lists, Battery Systems- Fabrication and Assembly Arrangements associated with Turbine Control Panels and Terminal Boxes, Cable and Instrument Layouts- Knowledge and understanding of Technical Regulations and Standards related to Electrical Systems (NEC, IEC & CE, ABS, DNV). Hazardous Areas and Fire Systems (API, IEC, NFPA).- Lead NPI, RAM and PCO projects, conduct Electrical Engineering Design Reviews and function as project manager into the Tollgate process.- Provide the primary engineering technical support to cross functional teams to improve or resolve design, performance, manufacturing, product center, supplier or field issues, e.G. cost reduction activities, quality initiatives, failure analysis, etc.- Development of the Standard Product Line Bills of Material- Support of Requisition Engineering, Production and Field Engineering.- Solve daily challenges through a Quality Oriented mindset. Participate as reviewer for peer's deliverables.- Able to coordinate, lead and coach peers. Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments to Engineering Managers and Product Line Leaders- Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments & Participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews**Required Qualifications**- Electrical or Electronics Bachelor's Degree- Solid contribution in a similar role or previous position- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish- English skills: Must be able to maintain a simple conversation in English.- Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.- Demonstrated ability in managing projects across functions- Capable of coaching others to accomplish assignments- Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership experience- Demonstrated ability in establishing common goals and objectives- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills- Ability to influence others and to lead small teams
