The product line alone serves as proof with advances in machine performance, equipment automation, fleet management, and John Deere's ongoing investment in emerging markets.**Main Responsibilities**:- This position will be working at the Enterprise Technology and Engineering Center - Mexico, assigned to a design team, performing the following activities:- Lead the complete Harness Design process for different projects by following the John Deere processes and requirements.- Analyze design problems, provide several design alternatives and choose an appropriate solution.- Make critical decisions for harness design and/or electrical engineering for different projects.- Identify and work on harness design process improvements and new tools development.- Provide guidance to less experienced designers.**What Skills You Need**:- 2-3 years of experience in Product Design.- Experience with Mentor Graphics Capital Harness Systems.- Experience with PTC Creo Parametric and PTC Windchill.- Good knowledge of SimStress simulations.- Knowledge of CAN physical layer requirements.- Familiar with the John Deere EPDP process.- Project planning experience.- Strong English skills, speaking and writing.- Drive for Sustainable Results.- Availability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.**What Makes You Stand Out**:- Strong Electrical and Electronics Engineering knowledge.- Experience training others.- Farming knowledge.- Innovation-oriented.- Decision making.**Education (or equivalent experience)**:- B.S.
