We're hiring an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to design and develop our automotive products in the areas of Active Safety and User-Experience. This position is located in TCI.
YOUR ROLEJob Responsibilities: Work independently on design tasks to lead the electrical hardware designReview customer specifications.Design and development of Automotive Products with Micro, SOC's, High speed memory, LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, high speed design for automotive applicationsDesign and development of Microprocessor and DSP Digital Core, Audio, Camera and video signals, analog and digital control logic, linear and switching power supplies, for automotive applicationsPerform worst case analysis and simulations to ensure compliance to customer requirementsSupport product design reviewsCreate and maintain schematic and assembly drawings and release within the change management structureDevelop and maintain electrical DFMEAGenerate electrical information to ECAD for PCB layout and support ECAD designerSupport hardware prototype buildsCreate product verification plan and perform testingSupport EMC and validation testingUtilize structured problem solving techniques for test failure resolutionPresent product design, analysis and testing to customerYOUR BACKGROUNDBasic Qualifications: BE degree minimum, ME preferredExperience in electronics designExperience in embedded, high speed (> 100 MHz) Micro-Controller designExperience in high speed (>100 MHz) digital and serial interface designLab equipment experience with power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimetersPreferred: Experience with implementing Functional Safety (ISO26262) in Electrical designFamiliarity with industry standard environmental and electrical design and test standardsExperience designing for, and testing EMC complianceProduct design experience with multi-layered board layoutsFamiliarity with Power Supply design principlesExperience using simulation toolsExperience with or course work on microcontrollers, digital signal processing, and high speed memoryExperience leading a design project through to production launchFamiliar with or experience using basic structured problem solving techniquesStrong work ethic to support Product team design efforts and timingAbility to multitask across various project activitiesAbility to work with a global program teamGood verbal and written communication skills (English)Experience: 4+ years and above of relevant experience
