POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing changes on existing products.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign new and low voltage electrical enclosures (> 240 volts AC).Harness Design, schematic creation and 3D modeling of wiring and cabling inside equipment.Experience with CREO Cabling module is preferred.Selection of appropriate electrical components that meet agency requirements (UL, NEC, CSA, CE).Collaborate with other groups, including Mech Engineers, firmware & software developers, system test, customer support, and manufacturing.QUALIFICATIONS5 - 7 years of experience in a hardware development role.5 - 7 years of experience using Product Life Cycle Management or Product Documentation Management tools.Fluency in English.Proficiency in writing functional requirements and documenting designs.Experience with Mentor or other schematic capture tools.Experience with DMM, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other debug tools.Ability to execute on schedules for hardware board development lifecycles.Ability to debug, validate, and develop/support manufacturing tests.Experience in design for testability and manufacturability.Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.Effective team member, consistent positive attitude, creativity.PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDSThe role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED10%#J-18808-Ljbffr
