Responsible of analyzing, designing, and implementing changes on existing products
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Design new and low voltage electrical enclosures (>240 volts AC).
- Harness Design, schematic creation and 3D modeling of wiring and cabling inside equipment.
- Experience with CREO Cabling module is a preferred.
- Selection of appropriate electrical components that meet agency requirements (UL, NEC, CSA, CE)Collaborates with other groups, including Mech Engineers, firmware & software developers, system test, customer support, and manufacturing.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5 - 7 years of experience in a hardware development role.
- 5 -7 years of experience using Product Life cycle management or Product documentation management tools.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in writing functional requirements and documenting designs.
- Experience with Mentor or other schematic capture tools.
- Experience with DMM, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other debug tools.
- Ability to execute on schedules for hardware board development lifecycles.
- Ability to debug, validate, and develop/support manufacturing tests.
- Experience in design for testability and manufacturability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.Effective team member, consistent positive attitude, creativity.
**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**
- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visitsWork is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
